I don’t believe it. v3.7 has broken photos.
I’ve just found that I’ve managed to upload the wrong version of v3.7 to upload to fix the upgrade bugs. This means that currently photo posts can’t be submitted because that’s what I was working on fixing for the next version - photoset uploading.
I upgrade the version number of my app as soon as the previous version has been accepted - so the marketplace couldn’t tell the difference, and it looks like I submitted the upgrade in my development fork by accident.
I can’t believe the time I’ve had with this. From a stable, if not fully functional, build to an unstable one has happened so fast - and in my haste to fix the bugs that are appearing I’m letting different bugs be released at the same time. Right now I’m just trying to get back to that stable position I had…..which can only have been a couple of weeks ago.
I can’t apologise enough for this - it’s totally my own fault for taking on too much at once and rushing the updates in a bid to get things back under control.
I’ve submitted a corrected version of the app a few minutes ago. This fixes the photo uploads, it fixes an issue with the more details screen where the wrong post was being loaded due to an issue in the Tumblr API, and it also changes the UI a little so the avatars are a little bit easier to see. Also the names in the recent notes screen are now clickable so you can find and follow new people.
Apologies again - believe me I am extremely disappointed in this situation and I am doing all I can to resolve it, but right now I’m back to waiting for Microsoft to test and release an update.
