Hey! Much as I’d like to, I’m afraid we only have like/unlike capability in the API at present; certain things are still Tumblr developers only, sorry!
As for the new pinning stuff, really glad you like it - I think it’s incredibly useful myself, even more so with the multiple blog support coming in 3.6!
